Hi Jennifer!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m glad you stopped by with your question.
Jennifer, I love bringing my camera to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Capturing magical memories is one of my favorite things to do on our vacations. Just the other day, my little Mouseketeers and I sat down to watch our previous
Walt Disney World Resort vacations, and just between you and I, I may have shed a happy tear or two!
Action cameras such as GoPro are permitted in the
Theme Parks with a head or body harness. I’ve been able to take mine on a few rides, but there are some attractions that state no photography is allowed, and I just make sure to put mine away during those. Sometimes, a Cast Member may ask you to take the camera off if they feel it’s not safe; Cast Members do their best to ensure your safety and of others, and trust me, they know their
attractions! For the most part, you should be fine to take your GoPro with secured straps along, but here are a few
items that are not permitted inside the theme parks.
Pro tip: Be sure to request the front row if you’re looking to get the most optimal footage!
Jennifer, in case you’re also into photography,
Picture This is a great page to check out because it lists several iconic Disney Parks locations where you and your party can strike a pose!
I hope you have fun capturing all the magical memories, Jennifer!
Aena
