    Can I wear my glasses when taking my security picture for the Disney Wish cruise?. My driver license has my glasses on.

    Welcome aboard planDisney! It is great to see you again!

    Isn't it exciting to have your Online Check-In approaching? I have some pointers for you as you complete the process, including your security photo.

    • First, make sure you mark your calendar for the date your check-in opens based on your Castaway Club status. If this is your first Disney Cruise Line sailing, you can check in 30 days before your sailing date. 
    • Collect all your required travel documents and either make a digital image by scanning or taking a picture of the documents with your phone before you begin the process.
    • For your onboard security photo, the information on the submission page indicates that you should remove glasses that prevent your eyes from being seen, so not wearing your glasses will help your photo to be approved more quickly. I find it easier to take the photo and then upload it rather than using the "Take Photo" option. Once submitted, your check-in will be pending until the photo is approved by a Cast Member. You will receive an email letting you know if it was approved or if you need to submit another photo. Don't worry if you need to try again––it has happened to me! Just submit a new photo and you will be on your way before you know it.

    You can check in on your phone through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or on the Disney Cruise Line website under the Already Booked tab. I usually check in with my phone using the app since that is where I save my travel documents and security photos, but some Guests find it easier to complete online. Either way, once you complete the process, you will be one step closer to your amazing vacation!
