Ahoy Michelle!
I am so glad you sailed back with another great question about your upcoming high seas adventure with Captain Mickey. Your Disney cruise is SO CLOSE!
In these final days before you set sail, I am sure you are finalizing your
packing list. On seven night sailings, there is both a
formal night and semi-formal night. Many guests dress to the nines on these evenings, but formal dress attire is optional. Feel free to get as dressed up as you feel comfortable or enjoy the evening in your cruise casual clothing! Both are welcome.
My family does enjoy dressing up for these evenings. We are often on the run and live in athletic clothing most days. When we cruise, this is a special evening for us! Although we don't have tuxedos, my daughter and I do wear floor length dresses and my son and husband usually wear a tie or sport coat.
On these evenings (and many others) there are professional photographers throughout the ship to capture your smile. I love to take advantage of this and get a formal family picture taken, often in the grand atrium on the staircase! If you purchase your
photography package at least two days before you set sail, you can get the best price offered. It is a great way to capture ALL of the magic you experience onboard.
Say cheese and snap back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
