Hi, Charles! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My family and I absolutely love
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park--as a matter of fact, we’re heading there tomorrow!
Yes, you can certainly wear flip flops at Blizzard Beach, but you will need to remove and hold onto them while you’re on most of the attractions. If you have soft-soled water shoes that enclose your entire foot, though, you can leave those types of shoes on for most attractions (except for ones like
Slush Gusher and
Summit Plummet where you may be asked to remove them). If you’re wearing flip flops, you’ll also need to remove them before riding the
Chairlift.
My family and I like to wear our water shoes for most of the day while we’re in the Water Parks, but I pack a pair of flip flops for each of us to change into when it’s time for lunch (just to give our shoes and our feet a chance to dry off for a bit) and at the end of the day when it’s time to head back to our
Walt Disney World Resort hotel. (Another suggestion is to take a few gallon-sized Ziploc bags to store your wet items in at the end of the day.)
I hope you enjoy your day at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Charles. Please let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you.
Amy
