what to wear to dinner on the wonder

Welcome aboard, Brenda! I see that you'll be setting sail on September 2nd on the Wonder! That must mean you'll be heading north to Alaska for an amazing seven night sailing. How exciting!

Though dining attire rotations are always subject to change, most likely you can expect the following attire nights on your cruise: Nights 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 will be Cruise Casual. Night 2 is Formal, and Night 6 is Semi-Formal.

Cruise Casual consists of nicer casual clothing, but Disney asks that no shorts, flip flops, tank tops or jeans be worn in the main dining restaurants. Most men usually wear long khakis and a polo shirt, as do boys. Women can be seen in nice capris, skirts, dresses and summery shirts.

On Formal and Semi-Formal nights, you'll see everything from tuxedos and formal gowns to more simple summer dresses, and men with dress shirts and ties or sports coats. Even the Disney characters get into the act on Formal and Semi-Formal nights, wearing their formal best! It certainly makes for some great photo opportunities!

On Disney Cruise Line, princess dresses are always appropriate for little girls, of course, and my daughter has been known to wear her favorite princess dress on Formal night or even on a Cruise Casual night.

I hope that helps as you continue to plan your cruise for this fall, Brenda! Please stop back with any further questions you might have. I'm happy to help!
