Hiya Andrea,
It is so great to see you back at planDisney. Not much longer until you are in the middle of
The World's Most Magical Celebration! There is even more magic throughout the theme parks and resorts including the newest EPCOT attraction,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This fast paced, thrill attraction is an out of this world adventure. We love it!
How spooktacular that you and your friend will be attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your upcoming trip! This special ticket event, held on select evenings at
Magic Kingdom, is a frightfully good time for all. Not only will you be able to trick or treat throughout marked locations in the park, there will be plenty of scrumptious treats to satisfy your sweet tooth (although I caution you from candy apples sold by any woman in tall, black hats), as well as special entertainment, fireworks and the delightful,
Mickey's Boo to You! Halloween Parade.
My favorite part of this party though is all our favorite Disney Pals decked out in their Halloween costumes and being able to join along in my favorite Princess dress. Everyone, including us "big kids", are welcome to join in the Halloween spirit as long as you follow the
theme park dress and costume guidelines. The guidelines include restrictions regarding face coverings, weapons, masks, and capes. There is also a restriction on the length of the costume, indicating it cannot reach or drag on the ground. It sounds like your friend's dress may come close to this and could be of concern. While it may be permitted, the length could restrict her from entering the park. To be safe, I would suggest altering the ballgown to no more than tea length. If she prefers not to alter the length, I would suggest she wear an alternate costume to the party and save the beautiful ballgown for a Halloween party when she returns home.
Have a bootiful time! Just keep a watchful out for those hitchhiking ghosts. They tend to be a little more adventurous on party nights. I hope you will
stop back and see me again, if you have any further planning questions.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
