We are going to WDW with our 4 year old daughter from 4/18-4/24 2010. We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge in a room with a courtyard view. What should we request to get the best views. Are there any rooms that would have fireworks views? Thanks!!

    HI!

I hope you love the Wilderness Lodge! Its my family's favorite resort. We just love the decor, theme, and activities at the lodge. Of course the location is wonderful too! The quick boat ride to Magic Kingdom is a great perk!

While there are some partial views of the Wishes fireworks at the Magic Kingdom all of these rooms are Woods View rooms. However, the Courtyard View rooms have a beautiful view of the pool, Bay Lake and the geyser! From these rooms, you'll often be able to view the Electrical Water Pageant - a fun nightly boat parade with music and lights.

Some of the most popular Courtyard view rooms are ones that overlook the pool area. If you'd like to be in a great location near the pool and counter-service restaurant, I'd request a room on the North side of the lodge. Also, if you'd prefer a balcony or patio, be sure to specify that in your room request as well. While room requests are never guaranteed, we've always had great luck and excellent room locations. I hope you do too!

    Have a great vacation! Enjoy!
