Hi, we come to WDW for 3 weeks at Xmas. We are considering getting annual passes rather than the UK 3 week ultimate pass. Will there be any restrictions or blocks using the passes at Xmas time e.g Xmas day and NY Day and can we park hop with an annual pass

Hi, Lawrence.  This is the way we go every year.  We decided that for visiting the theme parks as often as we do, it just makes sense to have an annual pass.

Unless it is one of the Florida resident seasonal passes, the annual passes do not have blackout dates.  You will be able to enjoy Christmas Day on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom and ring in the New Year with every country in the EPCOT World Showcase.  You also have park hopping privileges with the annual pass, and there are other perks, such as shopping and dining discounts.

We always figure that if we get at least ten days in the theme parks, we've gotten our money's worth out of an annual pass.  Plus, it's incentive to book another vacation before the passes expire!

Have a jolly holiday, and happy planning!
