We will be at WDW the weekend before DD's 5th birthday and it'll be her first visit.Since we will leave the day before her actual birthday,is it still okay to mention that it's her birthday week to restaurants, guest services, etc?

    Hi Preeti,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Birthday celebrations at the Walt Disney World Resort are very special. You are more than welcome to let Cast Members know your family is celebrating your daughter's 5th birthday. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, ask the front desk for a complimentary Celebration button. Your daughter can get a Happy Birthday button and a 1st Visit button to wear proudly. You can also pick Celebration buttons up from City Hall in Magic Kingdom Park or at Guest Relations, located in all four theme parks.

I hope you and your family have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Please let me know if I can help you any further.

    Have a magical day,

    Bob A.
