I love Disney and I am a self-proclaimed Disney fanatic. Like Mickey Mouse, I consider myself to be "a friend to everyone." I enjoy meeting new people, making friends, and trying new things. There is always a little bit of Pixie Dust in my daily life. Whether it’s listening to Disney Parks music while I work, or drinking multiple cups of coffee from one of my favorite Disney mugs, the magic is with me each day. My office is full of my Mickey Mouse, Haunted Mansion, and The Nightmare Before Christmas collections. Visiting Walt Disney World Resort or one of Disney's Beach Resorts with my family is the perfect vacation for me. As the proud father of four, any time our family of six can get away together is precious. We love making new memories at Disney Parks & Resorts. Helping others experience the magic of Disney is something I thoroughly enjoy. Being asked to join the planDisney Panel was a dream come true and I love helping others plan their magical Disney vacations.
About My Family
Once upon a time, I met my own "Beauty" at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I took Jen to Walt Disney World Resort for her first visit when we were in college and she fell in love with the magic. We've been together for over 18 years now and have four children. Robert is our oldest and could be an Imagineer one day, William and Elisabeth are our Tweedles—just 13 months apart—who both love Star Wars, and our youngest is Gretchen, a brave princess like Ariel and Merida. Our children can usually be found designing their own Disney Parks and recreating their favorite attractions. Jen is an elementary teacher at a local school and I'm a social media marketing manager. We've been Disney Vacation Club members since 2008 and love planning new trips as a family. When we're not taking a Disney vacation, we enjoy time at home with our rescued dogs and backyard chickens. We love being home for the holidays, but we've also enjoyed being at Walt Disney World for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
About My Disney Experience
I have loved Mickey Mouse since I was a child. My parents bought me a holiday Mickey plush during my first visit to Walt Disney World Resort and I have cherished it since. He sits on a shelf in my office as a special reminder of my lifelong love of Mickey and Christmas. I grew up visiting Walt Disney World with my family and have many fond memories of my siblings and I at Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom has long been my favorite park in Walt Disney World. As a child, I loved Haunted Mansion, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, and Peter Pan's Flight. As an adult, I'm still fascinated with the magic of Fantasyland and the marvel of Tomorrowland. Seeing the classic attractions and thrilling coasters through the eyes of my children gives me wonderful new memories. As Disney Vacation Club members, we're able to take magical family vacations every year. A visit to Walt Disney World or Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is our favorite getaway, but planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation and visiting Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is on our Disney bucket list.
