We are going to WDW the 2nd week of June 2008. I am trying to decide if I should purchase the WaterPark & More option. I read that the Disney Waterparks are very crowded. Would it be better to go to an off-site Waterpark? Thanks!

The second week in June, almost everything in the Orlando area will be crowded -- Disney, other theme parks, other water parks ... everything. Once school lets out, the crowds pick up. Many Florida school districts, and other districts throughout the country, start closing for the year after Memorial Day. That means you're going to be fighting the crowds until mid-August, no matter where you are. Wet and Wild will not be less crowded than Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, plus you'll experience longer travel times and have the hassle of not being able to use Disney transportation.

Water parks are a great way to cool off during a hot Florida day. I think of them as almost a vacation within a vacation. I love both the Disney water parks, but I'm especially fond of Blizzard Beach -- the family raft ride there is definitely in my top five WDW attractions. If you think you'll be using the water parks, then the Water Parks and More ticket add-on can give you big savings. But if you're not sure, you can always wait to decide until you get to WDW. You can add features such as the Water Parks option and the No-Expire option to your tickets all the way through your trip.

Hope you have a great one!
