WDW 10/26-11/2 wanted to book DS on Steam Trains tour at MK. However, he will be 25 days short of his 10 birthday. Can he still attend with an adult? Also do you think DD7&5, DS 9&2.5 would enjoy Family Magic Tour at MK. Wanting to do somethg

    Angela,

The good news is that you will be saving a lot of money on your trip because your "Dear Son" (DS) will be 9 years old and therefore is considered a child for tickets and dining.  The bad news is that you really do need to be 10 years old to go on the Steam Trains Tour.  Of course it is possible that they might not ask for verification of age, but I don't think it is worth the risk.  I'd save this tour for another trip.  If you and your wife decide to go on the tour alone, here is some info to keep in mind:
    - Duration of the tour is 3 hours
    - It begins at 7:30 am (arrive at 7:15).  You will probably need to take a taxi to get there on time.
    - Cost is $40 per person (as of July 2008)
    - Must be at least 10 years old

Now back to some more good news:  Your family sounds absolutely perfect for the Family Magic Tour.  In my opinion, you would all have a blast, since your kids are at perfect ages to really get into the spirit of this magical family-oriented tour.
Info regarding the Family Magic Tour:
    - Duration is 2.5 hours
    - It begins at 10 am (arrive at 9:45)
    - Cost is $27 per person, age 3 and up (as of July 2008)
    - Kids of ALL ages are welcome

Reservations for either tour can be made at 407-WDW-TOUR (407-939-8687).  Both tours offer discounts (AAA members, Disney credit card holders, Annual Passholders, etc.).

In case you or anyone else is looking for other WDW tour options, you can find more info if you search for "tours" on the WDW web site.

I hope you decide to do the Family Magic Tour, I'm confident you'll love it!
