Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Meta!
I love holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort! I've enjoyed many magical holidays at the parks and resorts: Easter, Halloween, and yes, my favorite, Christmas! The decorations themselves are a huge reason to visit the parks and resorts over
Christmas time! I'm excited for you to experience it!
When the final Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party ends, that night, the Halloween decorations go down and the Christmas decorations begin to go up. Last year, my family and I were there that week and were so impressed with how quickly the parks turned into a Christmas wonderland! Now, not all of the resorts will have the full Christmas decorations done by that week, but by mid-November, most everything is up and so magical! Plus,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins on November 9th this year, and that is something to experience for sure! Ah, hot chocolate in hand while "snow" falls on Main Street to the tune of my favorite Disney songs. There's nothing like it!
I highly recommend taking some time out of your park days to take the monorail around from Magic Kingdom to the three monorail resorts for a Christmas decorations tour: The Contemporary, Polynesian Villas, and the Grand Floridian. Hop off at each to view their decorations and their huge gingerbread house displays. If you're hungry, sample the gingerbread creations that are for sale in each, as they use a different recipe in each of those three resorts. My family and I loved creating our own gingerbread tasting with the three different cookies last year!
There is so much to see and experience at Christmastime at Walt Disney World, Meta. Enjoy it all!
