Hi! Will be in WDW 8/09 (18 of us)! We changed to Sarasota from Beach Club (saved $2K with the deal, WELL worth it!). But, SSR is a large resort with many buildings, I would like to request one but not sure what the pros are of each buildings location.

Hi, Elaine!  Saratoga Springs is one of my Disney Vacation Club home resorts, and I've stayed here a number of times, with both family and friends.  It is a beautifully landscaped resort, with lots to do, the wonderful Turf Club restaurant (best Caesar salad anywhere!), and wonderful swimming pools.

If you want to be close to most of the major amenities at this resort in the Carriage House - the food, the High Rock Springs pool, the surrey bike rentals, the arcade, etc., you would probably want to request something in the Springs section of the resort.  It is the closest section to the Carriage House, and you can easily get there in a few minutes from any room in the Springs.

My favorite section is Congress Park!  You can request a view of Downtown Disney in this section of the resort, and it's also the closest section to Downtown Disney, which is just a short walk away from the Congress Park section.

I hope you all have a wonderful vacation!  It sounds like it's shaping up to be a lot of fun!
