We will be at WDW 11/30-12/08 understand they will be filming X~mas day parade do we need to purchase an additional ticket to participate/watch the taping of the parade? Or can we just go to main st and view it?

    Hi Tracie,

What a great time of the year to be at the Walt Disney World Resorts! The crowds have left after the Thanksgiving break and the parks are decorated in their holiday finest.

The taping of the Christmas parade is a day that many guests want to be at the Magic Kingdom. When you purchase a ticket for the Magic Kingdom, you are entitled to view the taping of the parade as no separate ticket is needed.

I recommend you confirm the date of the taping and and that you arrive at the park early. You will be standing for long periods of time if you are by the stage in front of Cinderella's Castle if you are looking to see the performance on stage.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
