Hi, we are going to WDW 8/10 & want to try a water park with our 7&5 yo. Are aqua socks allowed in the pools and rides? I am not comfortable with all of us going barefoot. Appreciate the info. Thanks!

    Hi Bonnie,

Water shoes or aqua socks are allowed in the pools and on the slides at the Disney water parks. You should make sure that these are the type that stay securely on the feet at all times - not flip flops that will flop off on the slide.

Water shoes or aqua socks are a great idea. The pavement between the slides can get extremely hot during the summer. Protecting your feet from burns and scrapes will go a long way to making sure that your vacation is a good one.

Please let us know what else you need when planning your visit. We're happy to help.
