Our WDW trip is Feb 10-16, 2018! We chose this time hoping there wouldn't be as many people. Is there anything going on during this time that would make for more people or longer lines? Also, what's the weather typically like during this time?

Howdy Barbra!    Your trip is just a few days away!  Are you too excited to sleep yet?  I know I have a trip coming up in a few weeks and I am bouncing around my house like Tigger with excitement.

Being from Louisiana  you know that the week you will be visiting falls during Mardi Gras.  Many schools throughout Louisiana, southern Alabama and Mississippi will be out for the week which may lead to a few fellow southerners visiting at the same time you do.   But don't worry I have traveled many times during Mardi Gras break and find it a perfect time to visit.   The weather just like in Louisiana can vary from day to day.  Some years I have visited and worn shorts and even swam in the pools, while other years I wore a jacket and mittens.   I suggest checking the weather about a week before you leave and pack clothing that you can layer and remove throughout the day as it warms up.

I hope this has helped to answer your question about traveling to Walt Disney World.   Enjoy your vacation and be sure to visit again if anything else pops up.
