Our 1st WDW trip is coming up fast. June 9th-16th DH and 4 kids @ POP. We have 2 standard rooms. Is there any requests that I need to make for our rooms? Such as location or adjoining? In your opinion what are the best locations to request if needed? Thx!

    Janice,

Definitely call ASAP!  Today if possible.  Disney assigns rooms in advance and you're 8 days out today so it's important to get that request in as soon as possible.  You should ask for adjoining rooms, but if it's important to you also specify that you would like rooms with doors that open to each other, not just rooms that next to each other.  Not all rooms have the interior doors that can connect them.

As far as location, unless you paid additional for preferred it will not make a huge difference.  If there is one particular decade that you like the themeing of then by all means ask for it and see what happens, but keep in mind that requests are just that and not guaranteed.  Also be sure to explain that the rooms being adjoining is more important than the location on property (if that is indeed the case).

    Have a great vacation!
