We are going to WDW 12/13-12/19. We have tix for MVMCP on the 14th but were thinking about doing the 18th also. The tix for the 18th are a little more. Is this because its a Friday/last day for the party? Do they do extra stuff on Fridays & the last d

Hi, Amanda!  We love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  It helps get you in the holiday spirit to see all the Christmas decorations and holiday themed shows.

Tickets are generally more expensive on peak nights.  Fridays are typically more expensive, and the last night is also usually slightly higher priced.  There really isn't anything different on the last night, however, I honestly think it just feels more festive the last night.  It might be that it's closer to the holiday, it might be that the cast members seem more into the event because it's the last one, but I love the last night.

We take advantage of the earlier admission and make a full night of the party.  It gives us a chance to relax during the day, take in a swim if it's warm enough, and sleep late.  It's a bonus that it's a little less expensive than a full day in the park, especially because I feel like we get a lot of stuff done during the party.

Have an amazing time during your holiday visit to Walt Disney World!
