I have been to WDW 13 times, most of them in late Jan/ early Feb. I have also been once in early December, and once in mid-June. I'm from FL, & I can handle the heat. My question is, what is the BEST time of year to visit, in terms of crowds?

Hi, Amy!  In my experience, the best times to go are right after kids go back to school after a break.  I have always found late August into early September a good time to go, as long as you avoid the Labor Day weekend traffic.  You can usually find lighter crowds in January, just after the holidays.

Another good time to go is early May.  By then, most schools are finished with spring break, and most of them are not yet getting done for the summer.

If you can handle the heat, I'd say late August is one of the least crowded times we have ever visited.  Most of the southern schools and colleges are back in session, and some of us northerners are afraid we'll melt in the Florida sunshine in August!  It's been a good time for us to come down and get one last fling before school starts.

Thanks so much for your question!
