Been to WDW 11 times & have already booked our flight for 1/8 - 1-12, 2010. Now I'm finding there is a marathon through the parks that weekend. Am really nervous about crowds, don't want to get stung with long lines and crowds. Any thoughts?

Hey Linda!  Thanks so much for the great question.  I have not been to WDW during the January marathon, but my brother and his family go every year for him to run and they are always pleased with how small the crowds are at that time.  As a matter of fact this will be their fourth year straight and the longest line they have every waited in during this time was 20 minutes!  That is incredible,  As a matter of fact their only disappointment has been that Splash Mountain has been closed each year for refurbishment during this time, but that is their one and only complaint.
So I think you are going to be just fine with regards to the crowds.  Thanks so much for the great question and I hope you 12th visit is the best ever.  Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel.
