    We have been to WDW 9 time and have never gotten dining plans. Do you think they are worth it for a family who loves to eat on the go?

    The Disney Dining plan is a fantastic perk for guest staying at a Walt Disney World hotel! Being able to enjoy the many cuisines offered, at a near 30 percent discount scores huge points for me and my wallet!

    Even if you are a family "on the go", the Disney Dining plan can be well worth your money. There are a multitude of quick service options that can appeal to any palate, and the cost of the Quick Service dining plan is quite inclusive. With the QSDP, guests are entitled to two (2) Quick service meals, (1) snack and one (1) refillable mug (for use only at your resort) per person per day. The cost of the QSDP is $34.99 - $37.99 per adult and $14.99 per child. If you factor in the cost of a QS meal (hamburger/chicken nuggets) plus soft drink and dessert, your total for two meals would probably result in $30 per person, not including taxes OR your snack allotment. That's definitely savings, and one of the biggest draws to the dining plan!

    Personally, I enjoy the Disney Dining plan for convenience alone. I don't have to worry about budgeting monies for meals, as its already been paid for. Nor do I need to worry about where to eat as my reservations would be made, or I could opt to just grab and go at a counter service place. With so many places to enjoy good food at WDW, you're never out of choices. But, in the end, it all depends on your preference.
