We're going to WDW for 1st time ever w/ our 3 sons (12, 9, 5) on 11/8 -11/14. Trying to figure out which days to visit what park - & also coordinate what restaurants we should eat at (we did not get PH option and can't jump around). Suggestions??

    Hi Jennifer,

I know you must be so excited for your upcoming trip! I like to utilize www.touringplans.com with my park planning. The site uses information like past attendance, holidays & special events to rate each day for expected crowd levels. A ten is the maximum crowds & longest waits & one the smallest crowds.

Given your travel dates, the parks most recommended each day are:
8th Animal Kingdom, 9th Magic Kingdom, 10th Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, 11th Epcot, 12th Animal Kingdom and 13th Hollywood Studios. Typically, the best days of the week to visit each park is Tuesday-Magic Kingdom, Wednesday- Epcot, Saturday- Hollywood Studios, Friday- Animal Kingdom and the water parks on Saturday.

Now none of this means you have to stick to these parks on these days, but typically this information is fairly accurate and I often notice a difference in crowd levels and wait times on days not recommended. Without a park hopper, the best advice is to avoid the park with Extra Magic Hours. These parks do tend to be more crowded throughout the day and without the ability to move from park to park, it is better to avoid that park.

Now for food. Taste will be a big deciding factor here as there is a great selection at each park to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Some of our favorites include: Magic Kingdom-Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern, Epcot-LeCellier, Coral Reef & Teppan Edo, Animal Kingdom-Yak & Yeti, and Hollywood Studios-SciFi, Mama Melrose and Brown Derby.

Hope this helps get you started!
