WDW 1st time attendee here - I made a reservation through Disney's online for 12/11 at the Biergarten in hopes of going to the Candlelight Processional. Is that the right way to go about it or do I need to call in a book a package? I can't find the answer.

Hi, Jaime!  If you want to book a Candlelight Processional dinner package - which is what gets your priority admission into the theater for the Candlelight Processional performance, you have to call in to book that.  There are a limited number of packages available, and the package has to be booked in coordination with a dining reservation.  Just making the reservation at a restaurant does not give you the package offer.

You do not need to purchase the package.  Anyone with admission to EPCOT can attend the Candlelight Processional at no additional charge.  The biggest difference with the package is that the guests who have purchased the package line up in a different area, and that line is seated before they open the theater to the standby line of guests.

If you would like to book the package, you just call Disney Dining Reservations at 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463).  The dinner has to be booked prior to your show time - so you may actually have to book a lunch if you want an early show.  The meal includes an appetizer, an entree,non-alcoholic beverages, and a dessert; and you will also have a special viewing area that you can go to at the end of the day to see Illuminations.

Lunch packages begin at around $33 for adults; dinner packages begin at $47.  Tax and gratuity are not included.

I hope that helps clear some things up!
