Welcome back to planDisney! As my friend Princess Tiana would say, your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort is getting

Edward, throughout your stay, you'll find many
services available for those with mobility needs. I'm happy to share that both
wheelchair and
Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) rentals are available inside each of the four theme parks. Currently, wheelchair rentals are available for $12 per day, and ECV rentals cost $65 per day (prices subject to change). The deposits will vary by type and location, and you'll find multi-day length-of-stay discounts available for wheelchair rentals. Both wheelchairs and ECVs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and advanced reservations are not offered.
It's important to note that these rentals may not be removed from their designated location. For example, if you start your day at
Magic Kingdom Park, you can rent a wheelchair at the entrance and return it when leaving the park. Then, if you're hopping to
EPCOT, you can pick up another wheelchair when you arrive there. While your rental fee is transferable between theme parks on the same day, this may not be ideal if your mother-in-law requires mobility assistance traveling between destinations. If you're interested in renting a wheelchair or ECV for your entire stay, including use at and travel to and from Coronado Springs, you can find information about Disney's preferred partner, ScooterBug, on the Walt Disney World website.
