We have been to WDW three times in February but now that my daughter is in college we are planning to go the week of 5/11-5/20 and cannot wait. Can you tell me if this is a good time to go as far as how crowded it is and what the weather is like.

How exciting for you to be planning a Disney vacation, Theresa! Once you settle on the dates, the fun begins! The dates that you have selected are at the end of Disney's "regular" season, which  means that typically attendance is moderate. That's good news for you, as rates are less than the busier times, and hopefully crowd levels too.

The weather in May has an average high of 88F and low of 66F, which to me is lovely and definitely shorts weather. Make sure to bring your rain ponchos, because you never know when an afternoon Florida shower will hit.

Enjoy planning your vacation, and write us back if you have any questions along the way!
