We are going to WDW 9/18/16. If we have a table service reservation for 4 & will be using DDP can all 4 persons share 2 entrees & use only 2 credits? Also we have a 9:30pm reservation for BOG. Is it possible to order only dessert if we self pay?

Hi, Tricia! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plans for the convenience they afford us during our vacations. We always work up a huge appetite roaming the parks each day, so we have never asked about sharing table service meal credits. I spoke with a very helpful Cast Member just now, who confirmed my suspicions. The official rule is Guests must order their own meals when using the Disney Dining Plan. That said, you could find a helpful Cast Member who may allow an entree to be split; however, it is not something to be counted on when ordering. It never hurts to ask, so feel free to do so. I would like to mention to you a special notation: each Guest will be charged a dining plan credit if you visit a Dinner Show or a dining location that features a buffet, meals presented family style, or prix fixe menus

On the evening you visit Be Our Guest Restaurant, I can totally understand if you would much rather have their Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake or a Triple Chocolate Cupcake instead of a full meal. Wait, what am I talking about? Order them both! No need to ask the dishes; I can tell you they are so delicious! You are more than welcome to order whatever you like during your visit.

I hope this helps you while planning your dining experiences, Tricia! Please come back and visit us again if you have any further questions.
