Hi. Going to WDW this summer. Noticed that many meals, like sandwiches and burgers, come with sides (fries, fruit, etc). Can meals at quick service restaurants be ordered without sides? If so, Is there a difference in price? Thanks.

Hi, Tim! Thank you so much for bringing this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have a good tip for you that I learned last summer during our family vacation.

We frequently snack throughout the day as we tour the parks. Sorry, but I just cannot pass up a Dole Whip in the Magic Kingdom or a School Bread from the Norway Pavilion in Epcot! By lunch or dinner time, I am usually slightly hungry, but in no mood for an entree and side. One of the Cast Members told me last summer that I could order just the entree and omit the side. Looking at my receipt, I saw that I was charged $2 less than the price posted for the meal. Each time I asked to omit the side during that vacation and the several trips I have taken since then, I have noticed a $2 price difference. Note that this is just my personal experience, but I have read of others being able to do this, also.

I hope you have a fantastic day, Tim. Please stop by again if you think of any other questions before your trip.
