    My family(2adults,kids 17,7,5)will be in wdw 6/19-6/26. Staying at Y&B club with 7 day passes, also have deluxe DP. Need help planning an itenerary. Not sure how many days to allow per park. Planning on skipping waterpark, due to great pool at resort.

    Christy,

    Sounds like fun, can I come along!?! It is hard to be sure of what is best for your family, but here are some recommendations;

    • With the Deluxe Dining Plan I would schedule several dinners at the World Showcase at Epcot, if you have Park Hoppers. Great food, and a nice setting to keep the family connected on the vacation.
    • Plan on going to the 4 parks, one each day, for the first 4 days of your trip. Order is unimportant, though I always visit the Magic Kingdom on the first day.
    • Leave the other 3 park days "unplanned". Let your experiences on the first 4 days help you decide what parks need more time on those remaining days.
    • Consider breaking up into two groups on a few afternoons. This lets you focus on the 17 year old's interests, and separately on the youngsters too.
    • Agree on the pool. But call the resort (Yacht: 407-934-7000 / Beach: 407-934-8000) to make sure it is not going to be undergoing any renovations.

    Please feel free to send me a follow-up e-mail from my bio page if you want some more specific recommendations.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
