We're going to WDW 3/20 and staying in a Villa @ Old Key West. I'm nervous about the buses taking forever or being too full for us; we're a party of 8. Is our hotel the first or last stop? We want to do boats and/or monorail too. What should we do? Thanks!

    Hi Gerald,

You are going to have a wonderful time at Old Key West.  Old Key West does not share a bus with the other resorts and buses generally come frequently to all of the resorts.

If you want to experience the monorail or boats, you can certainly do that even if it is just to ride them for the experience.

However, if you are in Magic Kingdom and want to park hop to EPCOT, take the monorail and transfer at Ticket and Transportation Center and continue to EPCOT.  Since you do not have a car, no need to go back to the Magic Kingdom when your day is done, leave on a bus to Old Key West from EPCOT.

Also, some of my favorite restaurants are located in the hotels such as Cape May Cafe (Yacht and Beach Club), California Grill and Chef Mickey's (Contemporary).  So you could tour a park for the day and then leave to have dinner at another hotel via a new mode of transportation.

If you do take the monorail, you can ask to ride in the front car and they even give you a license!
