Hi, we are going to WDW in 3/09.We are staying at the W. Lodge. However, we are going to the AK one day and I am trying to figure out what the best way would be to get AK to the Grand Floridian or to the Yacht Club (for dinner) and then back to W.Lodge.

Lisa, the quickest way to get to both the Yacht Club or the Grand Floridian from the Animal Kingdom would be to take the bus to that resort from the park. Both bus rides take approximately 25 minutes, wait time for the buses not included.

To get back to the Wilderness Lodge from the Grand Floridian, my favourite way is to either take the boat or monorail to the Magic Kingdom, and transfer to the boat to the Wilderness Lodge. This takes about the same amount of time as the bus, and much more scenic in my opinion!

The best option from the Yacht Club back to your hotel would be to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, and hop on a boat to the Wilderness Lodge.  You could also take the boat (or walk) to the Disney Hollywood Studios, and take the bus back to Wilderness Lodge.

    Enjoy your vacation Lisa!
