Hi! WDW 9/2010; staying @ CBR, non-preferred rooms; which village/bldg to request to be near pool/food court/buses, and hopefully newly renovated? Will be using Garden Grocer service; any similar service available to deliver beer/wine? THANKS for your help

    Kelly,

Great idea to use the Garden Grocer service. Unfortunately, I don't know of a delivery service that is allowed to bring alcoholic beverages to your room in Florida. Sorry!

As for buildings to select that are not preferred rooms, you will find that many of the buildings I recommend in other answers (Martinique 26, 25, 24 and Trinidad North 31, 32, 33) are largely filled with Water View and Preferred location rooms. You should still request these buildings, as there may be rooms in them that have been reclassified as standard.

After that, however, I would go with buildings 45, 51, 44, 46, and 52. These are in the Jamaica and Aruba sections. While that is across the lake from the Old Port Royale Centertown, it is actually a good area because you are just a quick bridge walk away from that main hub. You are also maybe a bit further away from the residual noise of the main resort pool.

    Have a magical vacation!
