Hi, we will be at WDW 11/30-12/6. We are staying at AOA in the little mermaid room. I noticed that they do not have a refrigerator in the room. Is there another way to store medication in a cold secure place?

    Kari,

    Thanks for your question!

With Any Disney resort if you have medication or other similar item that requires refrigeration, they will always accommodate your needs. Just ask at the front desk.

However, what you cannot tell from room photos is that the Little Mermaid rooms in the Art of Animation do have a refrigerator in them! They are the right side of the dresser that has the television on top of it. The front of the refrigerator is covered by a door that disguises it like three regular drawers. If you want to see one, just go to the popular fan site AllEars.net, and they have a video of the rooms in the "Accommodations" section of their site.

NOTE: Now there was a recent situation where they did have to remove SOME of their refrigerators from rooms in many resorts, due to some defect. If your room is going to be affected, they will let you know by letter of that fact.

BOTTOM LINE: Your room should have a refrigerator in it, but if you are impacted by the temporary removal of some units, just ask the front desk and they can take care of the medication for you!

    Have a magical vacation!
