hi there! going to WDW on Sept. Still trying to decide if my sister&I should go to the MNSSHP, that'd be our first time!! on the other side I was wondering...if we decide to go to the party, will our dining plan work? thanks for the help :)

Boo to you, Michelle! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite Magic Kingdom Park special event of the year. My girls can never resist the spooktacular fun of visiting with their favorite Disney Villains and trick-or-treating through the park. Guests can usually find several rare characters mingling with happy haunts throughout the evening. Be sure to drag your body to the dead center of the Haunted Mansion graveyard to hear some wickedly hilarious tales from Madame Renata or Madame Carlotta. Eek!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a hard-ticket event, requiring separate admission from your regular daily park ticket. Guests are not able to use Disney Dining Plan meal credits to purchase tickets for this event. I would hate for you to miss Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade, especially with the Headless Horseman leading the way, so head to Walt Disney World Resort's Special Event tickets page soon. These tickets often sell out frighteningly fast. If you do plan to enjoy a meal at one of the dining locations within Magic Kingdom Park during the party, you will be able to use your Dining Plan credits as needed. Be sure to look for party exclusive treats in Magic Kingdom Confectionery and other ghoulishly fun locations, which can usually be purchased with Disney Dining Plan snack credits.

I hope you have a hauntingly great vacation, Michelle. Stop by again if you scare up more good questions for us!
