We are going to WDW in Sept prior to a 4 night Disney cruise and we will be using our 1 day MYW pass on 9/25/09 and just realized the MNSSHP is scheduled that night. Will we have to leave the park early. We had planned on staying until fireworks. Help!!!

    Hi Billie,

Wow how awesome to be counting down the days to your Disney cruise. The Magic Kingdom will close early for all guests that do not have a separate Halloween Party ticket. Typically the park closes at 6:00 pm on the evenings of these special ticket parties. The fireworks show will not be until later that evening during the party. You would be able to view the majority of the show from the Polynesian or Grand floridian beach, but you will not be able to stay inside Magic Kingdom for the firework show unless you purchase a ticket to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Depending on what your plans are for the following day, you may want to consider purchasing a ticket to the Halloween Party. The party is a great chance to experience most Magic Kingdom attractions with shorter wait times as well as some unique shows, parade and fireworks only offered at the party. You could then use your one day Magic Your Way ticket to visit a separate park earlier in the day.

Hope you have a magical time!
