We are going to WDW in Sept. 09, we were here last year, staying at the AK lodge, this year we have a smaller budget and are looking into value or moderate resort accomidations. Any opinions on the best value and also the best moderate resorts?

Thanks for your question Sherry. September is a great time to go to Disney, and you'll be happy to know they just announced free Disney Dining Plan for stays between August 16 and October 3, 2009. Click on the link and get all the details.

Our favourite value is All Star Music, and this is primarily for the pool-side activities and outdoor night-time Disney movies. I also like that it's conveniently located between All Star Sport and Movies, so we take any bus and enjoy the short stroll back to our room.

I have to say I loved the newly re-done rooms at Coronado Springs. The new queen-sized beds are super comfy, and the room and resort amenities, including the Pepper Market, are great. We just got back from a week at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Although I loved the beautiful grounds and the relaxing boat ride to Downtown Disney, I preferred the rooms at Coronado.
