We are going to WDW in Sept 09 (DD4, DD2). My youngest is turning 2 while we are there. We are planning to hit Chef Mickey's for her B-day. Is that the best b-day choice. And should I tell all our Character meals that we are celebrating a b-day?

Hey Karyn and the answers are yes and yes!  We always go to Chef Mickey's to celebrate a birthday, and it is one of my favorite character dining experiences at WDW.  So yes in my opinion you have made a great selection.  The food is great and your little one will know it's their special day.
And yes definitely let them know at other character meals that you are celebrating a birthday.  Places like Crystal Palace will give you a birthday card signed by Pooh and his friends as well as a birthday cupcake.
Thanks for the great question, and I hope your little one has a great birthday at the most magical place on earth.
