Going to WDW 8/25 with DH and DS11, was there in Sept 08 and did breakfasts at Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, and AK. Looking for someplace different for character breakfasts this year-considering 'Ohana or Cape May. Any thoughts on which is better ?

    Debra,

I am a big fan of Lilo and Stich, and 'Ohana is certainly a solid choice for breakfast, but I think I prefer Cape May.

I will say, however, that for me the deciding factor would be which park I was going to hit that day. I am all about the convenience of getting to where I am going to spend my day, rather than having to travel to breakfast, then travel to the park.

A little side recommendation, if you don't mind. While it is not a character meal, I have always been a big fan of the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge. I have only been there for lunch and dinner, but they did a great job of combining entertainment and food, and might be more in line with some fun for an 11 year old. Their breakfast menu has one of their trademark skillets, and if experience is any judge, this would be a great meal and a great time.

And only a quick boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
