Will be at WDW Sep21/Oct 2. How is the weather- day and night? Also, are there many mosquitoes, should I take repellent with me? Also grandparents staying at different resort (P. Orleans) and we are at Poly can they use the Poly pool with us?

    Hi Ane!

Late September to early October is a great time to visit Walt Disney World! I love that the weather has tempered just a bit from its summer highs and that the crowds are typically much lower since school is back in session

Typically, the weather during the day can still be quite warm so bathing suits are a must! An early afternoon pool break or a late lunch for some (air conditioned) dining are great ways to be the heat. Once the sun goes down, the temperatures are usually perfect for me! I still tend to wear shorts at night, but if you're up for the very late night Extra Magic Hours you may want a light sweatshirt.

While Disney does not allow pool hopping between resorts, you're in a grey area since you are guests at the Polynesian. Personally, as long as the pool wasn't too crowded, I wouldn't hesitate to have my parents come visit for an afternoon. If you do see that the pool is very crowded or if you have any questions, I'd check with the front desk to get their opinion on having the grandparents visit you. I think, as long as you are at one of your resorts, and you aren't abusing the privileges, you should be fine!

Hope you have a wonderful trip!
