We’re going to WDW Sep 2019, assuming MNSSHP will be going on during our stay, do we need to buy tickets to stay at the park all day on those days?

    Hi, Elizabeth!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special ticket event that takes place on select evenings throughout the fall season. The party ticket allows you to enter the Magic Kingdom theme park only during the hours that the party is taking place. If your family wishes to visit any of the theme parks, including the Magic Kingdom, during the day of the party, you will need a separate theme park ticket to spend the day in the park. Your Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket does not allow you to enter the park until the party, and a regular theme park ticket does not allow you to enter for the party.

What my family often does is we spend the day of the party relaxing at our resort or visiting Disney Springs for some shopping and dining. Then, with the typically smaller crowds, we can usually pack in a full list of attractions and activities at the Magic Kingdom during the party. This means we can use a day of park passes as a bonus day.

Oh - and don't forget your costumes! Even the adults will want to do some trick or treating during this fun event. With the Halloween themed parade, fireworks, and other activities, you'll want to join right in with your own Halloween spirit. It's spook-tacuclar.

    Happy haunting, Elizabeth!
