Do any of the wdw resorts offer adjoining/inter-connecting rooms in which one is a family suite and the other is a standard room? Traveling with 2 adults, 2 toddlers and 1 grandparent (who needs his own space).

    Hi Paul!

We often travel with my parents on our Walt Disney World vacations, and we love staying in Disney’s Deluxe Villas. While we book these rooms as Disney Vacation Club Members, any Guest can book an available room at these resorts.

A 2 Bedroom Villa would offer you all the comforts of home. These rooms include a master bedroom and attached bath with whirlpool tub. The main room offers a living area with a pull out couch for the little ones, a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. For granddad, there is second bedroom complete with it’s own bath to give him the space he needs. With sleeping accommodations for 8 to 9 Guests, there should be plenty of room for every member of the family.

When traveling with little Mouseketeers, I think you’ll truly appreciate the extra space and amenities. At bedtime, it’s easy to put the little ones down in one room, while the adults stay up to watch TV and have a snack in another. Speaking of snacks, you’ll be able to prepare toddler approved meals in the full kitchen, and quickly take care of any mealtime mishaps with the washer and dryer.

If you think you’ll be spending a lot of time at Magic Kingdom, check out Disney’s Bay Lake Tower which is just a short walk to the theme park. If Epcot is your place, you may enjoy Disney’s Boardwalk Villas, or Disney’s Beach Club Villas. Our favorite is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas where zebras and giraffes roam just outside your balcony.  Looking for tranquility and a convenient boat ride to Disney Springs? Then Disney’s Old Key West Resort maybe a perfect choice. Search Disney Deluxe Villas to explore all your options!

I hope this information is helpful, Paul. Let us know if you have any additional questions. We're here to help!

    Have a Disney Day!
