Hi there, April!
Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you're planning a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort this fall and I'm more than happy to help as you countdown to your trip.
There are so many wonderful resort options to choose from, you might have a tough time deciding where you'd most like to stay. I'm slowly working my way through the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel catalog and am really looking forward to a special birthday stay at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa later this year. It's been on my wish list for as long as I can remember, so I'm excited to finally check it off my list!
My family recently enjoyed an amazing stay at
Disney's Riviera Resort and has had the chance to enjoy many of the Moderate and Value Resorts on property over the years.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort gets my vote for best
Value Resort, and
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is my favorite of the
Moderate Resorts. You'll enjoy beautiful theming, complimentary transportation to the parks, and a wide array of dining and amenity options available no matter where you choose to stay, so the choice is really up to you!
I reached out to a Cast Member regarding carbon monoxide detectors, as I couldn't remember noticing them on my most recent stay. They confirmed that although all rooms are equipped with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors are not installed in resort rooms at this time. In my experience, Disney Parks and Resorts are committed to the highest standards of guest
health, safety, and
security. You are welcome to
contact a Cast Member by phone with any additional questions or concerns. I've also seen travel carbon monoxide detectors available for purchase online should you decide to go that route.
April, if you have any other questions please feel to come back and let us know. We're always glad to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
