Does WDW resort & cruises have accommodations for a large family of 13 people? Are there discounts for veterans or large groups? Looking into both, because we are trying to plan a trip in December 2017.

    Dear Rebecca,

Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about groups at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line! I recommend that for the Disney Cruise Line, that you reach out directly to my friend Beth S., since she's expert at sea!

I would be happy to assist you with your planning for your idea about the Walt Disney World Resort, though! Groups are more than welcome, and when you are in the Parks you will surely see the many family and friend groups gathered to celebrate there.

Are you all hoping to stay in one villa or larger accommodation? The largest on-site suites and villas won't quite accommodate the size of your party, but you can combine spaces and be very comfortable. It will definitely depend on your budget and desired location, but some Walt Disney World Resort hotels have space for larger parties. For example, check out the treehouse villas at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa! With a party of 13, you could also consider three suites in Disney's Art of Animation Resort, as another example!

As far as ticketing is concerned, there are some terrific deals for military veterans as well that you should definitely check out!

Have a magical time planning your trip!
