We will be at WDW on 3/4/16 and we are planning to explore more of the resorts and their amenities. Is there a map available to show which resorts we can visit by boat? We will be starting out from Saratoga Springs and want to go by boat if possible.

    Hi Ted!

Thanks for coming back to see us on the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family always enjoys the complimentary boat transportation at Walt Disney World. For my kids, the boat is another exciting attraction. From Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you can either walk or take the short boat ride to Disney Springs. Be sure to leave some time during your trip to visit Disney Springs as well. With so many new places to shop and dine, Disney Springs truly has a new story to tell. From Disney Springs, you can then take a boat to either Disney’s Old Key West Resort, or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort.

If you enjoy boats and exploring resorts, you may want to consider spending a day closer to the Magic Kingdom. While you would initially need to take a bus from Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa to the Magic Kingdom, from there you can take a boat to several beautiful resorts. There is boat service to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa that continues to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. These two resorts are some of Walt Disney’s World’s best resorts when it comes to service and theme. You can also enjoy a nautical journey from the Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Nearby via Monorail or a short walk, is Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

While there is not a specific map that shows all the boat routes, this official map of the Walt Disney World Resort allows you to zoom in and out and explore the entire property in one place. Also, check out this helpful page on Walt Disney World Water Transportation to help you with your planning. Wishing you a magical and unforgettable Disney vacation, Ted!
