Hi Joanne!
Welcome back to planDisney! As a fellow
Annual Passholder, I’m happy to help you out!
When using your Annual Pass, you will need to make a park reservation for the very first park you plan to visit each day. Once you scan into that park, you’re welcome to hop to any other park (pending park capacity) without a reservation.
Sometimes you’ll see
good-to-go days on the calendar in which you won’t need a park reservation, but it looks like there are no good-to-go days in July. You can find the
Annual Pass park reservation availability here.
Make sure to
book your park reservations as soon as possible, since they’re pending availability.
It’s good to note that if you plan to start your park day after 2 PM, you do not need to make a park reservation if you’re visiting Hollywood Studios, Epcot, or Animal Kingdom. That rule works a little differently for
Magic Kingdom, though.
Prior to July 20, 2025, you do not need a park reservation for Magic Kingdom if you plan to visit that park after 2 PM on weekdays. You will still need a park reservation for that park on the weekends, though.
Beginning July 20, 2025, you will need a park reservation for Magic Kingdom, no matter if it’s a weekday or a weekend if that’s the first park you plan to visit, even if you plan to get there after 2 PM.
Ok…one more thing before I let you go! With your Pixie Dust Pass, remember that there are
blockout dates on select days, including the weekends. So, if you plan to visit the parks on July 19-20, you’ll need a different type of admission ticket. Of course, there are plenty of fun things to do around the resorts and at Disney Springs, though. I love my non-park days just as much as my park days on my Disney World vacations!
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
