Should WDW offer free dining again this fall what month do they traditionally announce it? We are going Oct 18-24, 2015 and are really hoping to score the dining!

Hi, Patty, and thanks so much for your question!  Free dining is one of those things people not only look forward to, but plan vacations around, so it's always an anxious time waiting for dates to be released.

As of now, dates for 2015 have not yet been released, but usually, the free dining comes at the end of summer, and then there are often dates on and off in the fall.  Last year, free dining ran the entire month of September, then again at the end of October for about a week, and then for two weeks each in November and December.  The earlier part of October is usually pretty busy with EPCOT's International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, so you don't usually see free dining until late in the month.

We have historically seen an announcement usually in April or early May for fall free dining dates.  In some cases, the offer is extended to Disney VISA card holders first, and then to the general public.

If your plans are set, I would go ahead and book your dining reservations as soon as you can.  Once free dining dates are released, restaurants can book quickly.  You don't want to miss out on your favorite dining experiences by waiting too long!  You'll have time to change them later if you need to, but when you 180 days gets here, consider booking your must do meals.

Have a great time planning, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that free dining information comes soon!
