We'll be at WDW this October and I'm trying to map out our meals. I see that AK closes at 5pm...does that mean that none of the restaurants there serve dinner? Does the park close at 5, or just the rides? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Michelle!

Typically, when Animal Kingdom closes at 5pm, the restaurants will have their last seating at about 4:30. When the park "closes", the rides will still run until their queues are empty, but no additional guests will be allowed into the lines. Guests will begin to make their way out of the park, but some stores will be open for last minute purchases. Most snack locations will have closed.

Usually, the Rain Forest Cafe located at the entrance to the park (but just outside the park) will remain open after park closing. It can be a great option if you'd like to stay at the park until closing and then have dinner.

    Hope this helps!
