We are going to WDW on October 21-26 with 6y daughter and 4y son. I have not told them yet and am looking for a way to surprise them. Does Disney still do the enchanted call? Does anyone have a good suggestion for a unique surprise? Thank you

    Hi Virginia!

I have a couple of ideas for surprising your kids with a trip to Disney World. Unfortunately Disney doesn't do phone calls announcing your vacation, but there are lots of other fun ways to let your kids in on the surprise.

When I surprised my kids with the trip, I wrote them a book. I used an online photo scrapbooking site to add photos with my story and I bought the book for my kids. I then let them read the story together and the end of the story told them they were going to Disney!

One year I let them unwrap a series of presents that provided clues as to where we were going. They has to guess where we were going. It was a fun way to announce the trip and its a way they will always remember!

    Good luck!
