Hello~ we will be at WDW for NYE and we were curious about Fireworks Dining Packages that would allow us to watch the fireworks. What is available and when can they be booked if staying on property.

    Hey there, Lindsay!

I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney! Celebrating New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World Resort sounds like such a magical way to ring in the new year. Starting a fresh year surrounded by Disney magic sounds practically perfect in every way! It’s definitely something I’d love to experience myself someday, so I’m excited that you have this unforgettable celebration planned for this year.

With that said, it’s still a little too early to know whether Disney will offer any special New Year’s Eve fireworks dining packages this year. If they do become available, Guests staying at a Disney Resort will have the opportunity to make dining reservations beginning 60 days before their check-in date. This includes any special experiences, such as a fireworks dining package, if offered, and you’ll be able to book for your entire stay (up to 10 nights).

Since details have not been announced yet, I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the official Disney Parks Instagram account in the months leading up to your visit. These are usually the first places where Disney shares information about these types of experiences.

Another special ticketed event you may want to consider adding to your visit is Disney Jollywood Nights! This year, the holiday celebration is offering select dates after Christmas, giving Guests even more opportunities to enjoy the festive fun and Hollywood-inspired holiday glamour.

I’m not sure how long you’ll be staying at Walt Disney World Resort, but there are currently event dates available on December 23, 2026, as well as January 3 and January 5, 2027. It could be such a fun addition to your New Year’s celebration and a memorable way to continue the holiday magic during your trip!

Lindsay, I hope this has been helpful as you continue planning your trip! If any other questions come up along the way, you’re always welcome to stop back by planDisney.

    Cheers to 2027,

    Kami
