Going to WDW in Nov. right around my daughter's birthday. I'm looking for some ideas for a "Mommy & Me" date that will be inexpensive and won't eat up too much of our park time since we're only there for a few days. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Karrissa,

I love that you want to spend some special Mommy & Me time with your daughter for her birthday! It will be a special memory that you both will be able to remember.

Your question does not list the age of your daughter or what she likes. So I will propose some ideas and then you can always ask for more specifics if I missed the boat.

Have you thought about a special snack or treat just the two of you can share? If you both like ice cream, head to the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club Resort and order the kitchen sink. This is a fun way to enjoy lunch and dessert in one setting.

Perhaps your daughter likes animals. If she is like my daughter, head out early to Animal Kingdom and do the first Kilimanjaro Safari of the day. The animals tend to be more active in the morning.

Is your daughter a shopper? Then arrive at Magic Kingdom at the rope drop and tour the stores while they are empty. This is a fun way to try on a costume or jewelry with little crowds.

Does you daughter like fireworks? Then head to the Polynesian Resort and enjoy Wishes from the beach of this resort. This is now my favorite viewing location for Wishes.

Is your daughter a ride fanatic? Then hit only her favorite rides one morning.

Does your daughter like characters? Then take pictures with just the two of you with every character you see and make a book of it when you get home.

Or how about trying on crazy hats wherever you see them? This makes it just something you both do but it cost nothing and it is happening throughout the day.

If your daughter knows about the trip, then head online and look at the options with her. Better yet, have her pick an option.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
